With six Toronto Music awards and hundreds of song placements in tv/film under her belt, Clara Lofaro is redefining what it means to be a pop singer and in-demand songwriter.

Raised by Italian immigrants in Toronto, Clara began her career as the featured soloist in her local church and community theater. She studied at Berklee College of Music and completed her four year degree in 2 years, anxious to sink her teeth into the New York City music scene, and relocated to the big city. NYC’s energy and power were the perfect compliment for Clara’s pure talent and fierce drive.

“Effortlessly blends her soulful singing with fun, poppy tunes”

Performing throughout the world with her band and as a solo artist, Lofaro’s music captures her unique take on her generation, while paying homage to the great songwriters she so admires. She has performed alongside Stevie Nicks, Edwin McCain, Kimberly Locke, and Jeffrey Gaines and was the vocalist in the Disney Super Bowl commercial singing, "When You Wish Upon a Star" featuring MVP players of the NFL team.

Clara’s ability to write hits, both for herself and others has proven successful again and again. American Idol finalist Erika Van Pelt released four of her songs, Maddy Ziegler (SIA) won Dance Moms to Clara’s passionate performance of “Send Me A Lifeline”, and shows such as The Voice, The Tonight Show, Young & the Restless, American Idol and many more are using CL tunes as their backdrop. Lofaro's single “Just Smile” was the theme song for Vanity Fair’s four year running “Wipe On A Smile” national commercial campaign, and her follow up single “Born to Love You” hit #21 on Billboard’s Club Play chart.

“likened to that of Laura Nyro, Carole King and Annie Lennox”.

After being offered a publishing deal with NYC’s indie label, Antifragile Music/Kobalt in 2018, Antifragile quickly followed with a record deal after being blown away by the music Clara was submitting. Lofaro and producer Uri Kleinman (Martha Wash, Darlene Love) packed his LIC, Queens studio up and drove across country to LA to record her 4-track EP “More Than I Am”. The EP and her follow up single “Safe” have garnered her over 180,000 streams on Spotify and a spot in the first round ballot for 3 awards in the 2020 GRAMMYs.
